Nyhedsbrev juni 2024
Det er kronede dage i dit fødevarefællesskab, solen skinner, grøntsagsposen er endelig fyldt med alt det grønne og KBHFFs kalender er fyldt med spændende arrangementer, som vi håber at du har lyst til at tage del i.
Du er inviteret til sommerfest på Svanholm d. 8. juni
Kollektivet var meget glade for, at vi kom og hjalp til i markerne og vil derfor gerne invitere os med til deres årlige festival. Her er link til facebookgruppen, hvor man kan læse mere om de 10 koncerter, kunst-workshops og børneunderholdning, som er en del af arrangementet. Man skal anmode om adgang for at kunne læse med, men man kan også gå direkte til at bestille billetter her.
Lugeturen er tilbage og de næste par gange skal vi til Svanholm
Vi er glade for at kunne invitere på flere lugeture til Svanholm! Du kan læse mere om lugeturene og tilmelde dig her. Den næste lugetur er allerede lørdag d. 15. juni.
Kom til EP valgfest og landbrugs quiz hos Demokrati Garage d. 9. juni
Københavns Fødevarefællesskab inviterer til grøn quiz om landbrug og fødevaresystemet i Europa. Kom og bliv klogere på problemer og komplekser på både lokalt og EU-niveau, quiz, vind og drøm om en grønnere fremtid og bedre mad sammen med os.

Grundlovsfest ved DR-Byen d. 5. juni
Kom til Grundlovsfest ved DR-Byen her kan du møde KBHFF, Frivilligcenter Amager og Sundholm 8 og blive klogere på foreningslivet på Amager. Du kan også dele et lille måltid og tage en snak med en anden person om, hvad nærdemokrati og foreningsliv betyder for dig.

Generalforsamling 2024 og prisstigninger
Bestyrelsen vil endnu en gang gerne takke for en hyggelig generalforsamling og minde om, at forslaget om prisstigning på grøntsagsposen fra 115 kr. til 125 kr. for frivillige og 140 kr. til 150 kr. for støttemedlemmer trådte i kraft d. 1. juni. 2024.

Fællesmøde og oplæg om bogen ‘Levedygtigt Landbrug’ d. 28. maj
Fællesmødet har besluttet, at KBHFF har sommer lukket uge 29. 17. juli
I må meget gerne melde tilbage, om I påtænker at holde yderligere sommerlukket. Indtil videre har Sydhavnen sagt at de holder åbent hele sommeren (på nær uge 29). Hvis I holder lukket er det vigtigt, at I informerer Jonathan FK (fk@kbhff.dk) om dette. I stedet for midlertidigt at lukke afdelingen, har I også mulighed for, at jeres medlemmer kan hente bestillinger hos en anden afdeling, dette skal også koordineres med Jonathan FK.
Oplæg om udgivelsen ‘Levedygtigt Landbrug’
Til Fællesmødet kom Tobias Unger og fra Den Grønne Ungdomsbevægelse og fortalte om deres udgivelse ‘Levedygtigt Landbrug’, som beskriver en utopi og konkrete forslag til, hvordan vi skaber et bedre landbrug. Du kan læse mere om bogen, og hvordan du kan købe den her

På Fælleslageret står de for at modtage grøntsager fra vores avlere, fordele grøntsagerne til KBHFFs forskellige afdelinger, hjælpe chaufførerne med at af- og pålæsse bilerne, registrere varer og emballage og rydde op.

Skal du være frivillig chauffør?
Hver onsdag kører vores chauffører grøntsager ud til vores afdelinger. Varerne læsses af på vores fælleslager på Hotel og Restaurantskolen på Lyshøjgårdsvej 1 og køres ud til afdelingerne, hvor de modtages af medlemmer af de enkelte afdelinger.

It’s a splendid time in your food community; the sun is shining, the vegetable bag is finally filled with green happiness, and KBHFF's calendar is packed with exciting events that we hope you’ll want to participate in.
You are invited to the summer party at Svanholm on June 8th
The collective was very happy that we came and helped in the fields, and therefore would like to invite us to their annual festival. Here is the link to the Facebook group, where you can read more about the 10 concerts, art workshops, and children's entertainment that are part of the event. Weeding trips are back, and next time we’re heading to Svanholm
We are pleased to invite you to more weeding trips to Svanholm! You can read more about the weeding trips and sign up here. The next weeding trip is already on Saturday, June 15th.

Constitution Day celebration at DR-Byen on June 5th
Come to the Constitution Day celebration at DR-Byen were you can meet KBHFF, Volunteer Center Amager, and Sundholm 8, and learn more about community life in Amager. You can also share a small meal and have a conversation with someone about what local democracy and community life means to you.

General Assembly 2024 and price increases
The board would like to thank everyone for a pleasant general assembly and remind you that the proposal to increase the price of the vegetable bag from 115 DKK to 125 DKK for volunteers and from 140 DKK to 150 DKK for supporting members came into effect on June 1st, 2024.

Common meeting and presentation of the book ‘Sustainable Agriculture’ on May 28th
The common meeting has decided that KBHFF will have a summer break during week 29, July 17th.
Please let us know if you plan to have additional summer closures. So far, Sydhavnen has said they will stay open all summer (except for week 29). If you close, it is important that you inform Jonathan FK (fk@kbhff.dk) about this. Instead of temporarily closing the branch, you also have the option for your members to pick up their orders at another branch; this also needs to be coordinated with Jonathan FK.
Presentation on the publication ‘Sustainable Agriculture’
At the common meeting, Tobias Unger from The Green Youth Movement came and talked about their publication ‘Sustainable Agriculture’, which describes a utopia and concrete proposals on how we can create better agriculture.

We need volunteer drivers and help at the central warehouse.
Join the Central Warehouse Team
At the Central Warehouse, we handle receiving vegetables from our growers, distributing them to KBHFF's various departments, assisting drivers with loading and unloading vehicles, recording goods and packaging, and tidying up.

Want to be a Volunteer Driver?
Every Wednesday, our drivers deliver vegetables to our departments. The goods are unloaded at our central warehouse at the Hotel and Restaurant School on Lyshøjgårdsvej 1 and then driven to the departments, where they are received by members of the respective departments.
You can read about the shift in detail here or contact the central coordinator at fk@kbhff.dk. You can also write to this address if you want to sign up as a driver or a volunteer at the central warehouse.
